ISTANBUL - Rock and roll pioneer Chuck Berry will give a concert in Istanbul next week, organizers said on Monday.
The 82-year-old rock'n roll legend, who has been on a tour of Europe, will be on stage on August 15th at Parkorman.
Berry, whose hits include "Johnny B. Goode", "Maybellene", "Sweet Little Sixteen" and "Roll Over Beethoven", was awarded the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 1985.
Six of his songs were included in Rolling Stone magazine's "500 Greatest Hits of All Time" list.
He has not released an album of new material since 1979's "Rock It" but still tours regularly.
