Governor: Fire In Antalya Under Control In General Aspect

ANTALYA - Governor of southern province of Antalya said on Sunday that the fire in villages and Manavgat and Serik towns of the province was taken under control in general aspect.
Governor Alaaddin Yuksel told reporters that the fire had started in Karabuk village of Manavgat town at noon on July 31st.
He added that the fire had been continuing since that date, but now it was generally under control.
Yuksel said, "this fire has been the most influential one we have seen at Anatolian lands in recent years."
He also said that teams were exerting efforts to control the fire which broke out on Saturday afternoon in Kumluca town.
