ANKARA - Russian President Dimitri Medvedev and Prime Minister Vladimir Putin have offered their condolences to Turkey following the dormitory collapse that killed 16 people and injured 27 others in central Turkey.
Russian Prime Minister Putin called Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and expressed profound sorrow over killing of people in the collapse.
President Medvedev sent a message to President Abdullah Gul to offer his condolences.
A dormitory for girl students collapsed in Konya`s Taskent town early this morning after an explosion, killing 17 and injuring 27 people. The cause of the explosion is immediately not known.
