Turkey's Coastal Town To Host International Music Festival

ISTANBUL - A southwestern resort town of Turkey will host an international classical music festival between August 22nd and 25th.
The "4th D-Marin Turgutreis International Classical Music Festival", sponsored by Turkey`s Dogus Group, will be held at Bodrum marina, the group said in a statement on Friday.
The festival would host numerous world-wide known musicians and the theme for this year`s festival was "patriotism", the statement also said.
Russian soloist Maxim Fedetov who is known as the "Paganini" of Russia, Russian Philharmonic Orchestra, Turkish pianist Idil Biret, Italian tenor Nicola Martinuci, Dogus Children`s Symphony Orchestra conducted by Rengim Gokmen and renowned bandoneon player Hector Passarella of Uruguay will take stage within the framework of the festival.
