ANKARA - Turkish Treasury Department will conduct three auctions next week.
Releasing a statement on Friday, Treasury said it would auction 945-day discounted state notes denominated in U.S. dollar on August 16. Coupon payments will be made once in every six months. The first coupon payment will be made on September 22, 2004 and the interest rate will be 1,85 percent. The value date of these state notes is August 18, 2004 and maturity is March 21, 2007.
Meanwhile, Treasury will sell 189-day discounted treasury-bills denominated in Turkish lira (TL) on August 17. The value date of the t-bills is August 18, 2004 and settlement is February 23, 2005.
Treasury will conduct another auction on August 17 to sell 553-day discounted state notes denominated in TL. The value date of the these state notes is August 18, 2004 and maturity is February 22, 2006.
