VAN - Members of PKK/Kongra-Gel terrorist organization killed one soldier and injured another one in Baskale town of eastern Van province, sources said on Friday.
Terrorists, who entered the region by passing the border, opened fire against gendarme forces near Gecitvermez village of Baskale town.
One soldier died, while another one was injured. Terrorists withdrew when gendarme opened fire.
Operations continue in the region.
