ANKARA - Turkish State Minister Kursad Tuzmen met Tuesday with Charles Brad Henry, governor of Oklahoma of the United States, in the Turkish capital, Ankara.
Speaking at the meeting Tuzmen said the trade volume between Turkey and the U.S. had increased to some 12 billion USD over the last years, adding that Turkey's exports to the United States were around 4 billion USD.
The U.S. governor said on his behalf that his visit to Turkey aimed at informing Turkish officials about trade and investment opportunities in the State of Oklahoma to develop bilateral commercial relations.
Brad Henry also said he condemned terrorist attack in Istanbul over the weekend which killed at least 17 people, injuring scores.
