International Folk Dances Festival In Samsun

SAMSUN - A team from the autonomous Republic of North Ossetia in Russia has won the International Folk Dances Contest in the northern Turkish province of Samsun.
Nearly 720 dancers from Turkey, Macedonia, Mexico, Latvia, Slovenia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Egypt, Czech Republic, Sierra Leone, Russia, North Ossetia, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and Poland attended the 28th International Folk Dances Festival in the city.
The team from the autonomous Republic of North Ossetia won the contest while Georgian team came on the second place and Polish team ranked third.
