U.N. Secretary General Condemns Istanbul Bombings

NEW YORK - U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon Monday strongly condemned bombings in Gungoren district of Istanbul.
In a written statement, U.N. Secretary General's Spokesman reaffirmed that no reason could justify such kind of terrorist attacks and expressed the Secretary General's condolences for those who died in the bombings and wished a speedy recovery to those who were injured.
Two bombs exploded minutes apart in one of Istanbul's busiest districts on Sunday night, killing 17 and injuring 115 others.
