South Korea Decorates Turkey's Top General With Medal

ANKARA - South Korea decorated a top general of Turkey with a medal on Monday.
South Korean National Defense Minister Lee Sang-hee honored Gen. Yasar Buyukanit, the chief of general staff of Turkey, with the "Order of National Security Merit Tongil Medal of Korea" at the General Staff headquarters in Ankara.
Gen. Buyukanit was decorated with the medal for his contribution to friendship and military relations between the two countries.
