ANKARA - Turkish Foreign Minister Ali Babacan will leave for Iran on Tuesday to attend the 15th Ministerial Conference of the Non-Aligned Movement.
Foreign Ministry stated on Monday that Babacan would hold meetings regarding Turkey's candidacy for non-permanent membership to UN Security Council within the scope of the Conference which would take place in Tehran.
Babacan will also hold bilateral meetings with foreign ministers of several members of Non-Aligned Movement as well as Iranian officials.
Turkey attends meetings of Non-Aligned Movement under guest country status.
