ROME - Italy condemned the bomb attacks in Gungoren neighborhood of Istanbul late on Sunday.
Italian Foreign Minister Franco Frattini said on Monday that the Italian government strongly condemned the terrorist attacks in Istanbul which killed and injured many innocent people.
Italy also conveyed its support to Turkey in fight against terrorism and all types of violence and extended support to Turkey's efforts for EU full membership.
Two bombs exploded minutes apart in one of Istanbul's busiest districts on Sunday night, killing 17 and injuring 115 others.
