Turkey's Competition Board Approves Sale Of Ankara Natural Gas Grid

ANKARA - Turkey's Competition Board approved on Monday sale of Ankara's natural gas grid to Global-Energaz consortium.
In an auction in March, Global Energaz offered 1.61 billion USD, the highest bid for privatization of Baskent Dogalgaz Dagitim, Turkish capital Ankara's natural gas grid.
Six consortiums and companies competed in the auction held by Ankara Municipality.
Akfen Holding, Calik Enerji, Gaznaturel-Nural, Limak and Elektromed were the other bidders in the auction.
