Georgian Consul General In Trabzon Mikatsadze Meets Erzurum Governor

ERZURUM - Avtandil Mikatsadze, Georgian Consul General in the northern province of Trabzon, paid a courtesy visit to the governor of the eastern province of Erzurum, Sami Bulut, on Friday.
Receiving Mikatsadze at his office, Bulut said, "the three countries (Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey) have displayed a good will on cooperation by establishing the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars Railway Project."
"Once the railway project is realized, this would boost economic relations between the three countries. The project would contribute to good relations among the peoples of the three countries. The railway would connect Central Asia to Anatolia and Europe. The railway project would promote social, cultural and commercial relations," Bulut said.
"The railway project carries high importance for the three countries. The project has a strategic importance. We would support all future projects to strengthen relations between our respective countries," Mikatsadze said.
After meeting Bulut, Mikatsadze met Erzurum Mayor Ahmet Kucukler.
