AYDIN - A Tajik delegation including cotton breeders are paying a visit to the Aegean province of Aydin.
Tajik delegation came to Turkey under a project aiming at improving cotton breeding financed by Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency. Tajik cotton breeders were informed on Turkish cotton in the research institute in Nazilli town of Aydin.
Dr. Taner Bozbek, deputy director general of Cotton Research Institute, told the A.A correspondent that several countries have been competing to have the most qualified product from cotton.
Bozbek said Turkish cotton breeders were also visiting several countries to get information about cotton breeding.
