ISTANBUL - Turkey`s state-owned Vakifbank signed a 750 million USD syndicated loan on Thursday.
The loan will have one-year maturity and involve 25 banks from 12 countries.
Vakifbank Director-General Bilal Karaman said at the signing ceremony that a 700 million USD loan in 2007 was re-arranged as 750 million USD.
"It is the confirmation of confidence in our bank," Karaman said.
Turkey`s 6th largest bank would make the loan available mostly for Turkish exporters and real sector companies, Karaman said.
