ANKARA - Turkish General Staff announced Thursday on its website that Turkish fighter jets successfully hit 13 targets belonging to terrorist organisation PKK situated in the north of Iraq.
The General Staff`s press release said the fighter jets struck Wednesday night the 13 targets in the Zap region belonging to terrorist organisation PKK which were carefully detected with technical devices.
General Staff said they were not certain about the extent of PKK`s losses yet, and added that they were trying to determine the toll.
General Staff reiterated that it only targeted terrorist organisation PKK and displayed utmost concern in order not to harm the local civilians during the air raid.
