One More Taken Into Custody In Ergenekon Probe

SILIFKE - Police detained on Wednesday one more person under Ergenekon investigation in Silifke town of Mediterranean province of Mersin.
Police detained Y.B., identified by his initials only, who is the representative of a TV channel in the Mediterranean region. Police also searched his house for 4 hours and seized several materials.
Y.B. was taken to central province of Konya for interrogation, police said.
An alleged criminal network that came to be known as "Ergenekon" was revealed after police seized hand grenades, TNT explosives and fuses in a shanty house in Istanbul on June 12th, 2007. Several Turkish figures, including retired senior army officers, were detained and sent to prison within the scope of the investigation.
