Four Dead As Two Trains Crash In Turkey: T.V.

ANKARA, Aug 11 (AFP) - At least four people were killed and many others injured when two trains collided head-on near Istanbul in northwestern Turkey on Wednesday, the NTV news channel reported citing railway officials.
At least 19 injured people were taken to one of the hospitals in the city of Izmit, the channel said.
The two trains collided in the province of Kocaeli, southeast of Istanbul.
The accident occurred three weeks after 37 people were killed and some 80 injured when a newly-inaugurated express train derailed in the same region.
