IZMIR/ANTALYA/BELEN/CEYHAN/GAZIANTEP/MARMARIS - Police seized 39 kg of hashish in Buca town of western province of Izmir on Monday. Five people were detained in the operation.
In another operation staged jointly in southern provinces of Isparta and Antalya, 3.5 kg of hashish was confiscated and nine people were detained.
Police also seized 7 kg of hashish in Belen town of southern province of Hatay, and one person was arrested.
Gendarmery found 4 kg of hashish in a passenger bus in Ceyhan town of southern province of Adana, and two people were arrested.
In an operation staged in Oguzeli town of southeastern province of Gaziantep, police confiscated 72 kg of hashish, and arrested one person.
Police also seized 3 kg of hashish in Marmaris town of western province of Mugla, and arrested one person.
