Many Injured As Two Trains Crash In Turkey: Agency

ANKARA, Aug 11 (AFP) - Two trains collided head-on in northwestern Turkey on Wednesday, leaving many injured, the Anatolia news agency reported.
The crash occurred near the village of Tavsancil in the province of Kocaeli, the agency said.
Many ambulances have been sent to the site, NTV television said.
One of the trains was en route from Ankara to Istanbul, while the other was heading from Istanbul to the city of Adapazari in the northwest.
No other details were immediately available.
The accident occurred three weeks after 37 people were killed and some 80 injured when a newly-inaugurated express train derailed in the same region.
