Turkish Cypriot State Celebrating Peace & Freedom Day

LEFKOSA - The Turkish Cypriot state celebrated Peace and Freedom Day on Sunday.
The 34th anniversary of Peace and Freedom Day celebrations began in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) with participation of Turkish Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Erdogan, TRNC President Mehmet Ali Talat and other high-level officials laid a wreath on "Bogaz Martyrdom".
Prime Minister Erdogan then laid a wreath on Ataturk`s Monument in Lefkosa, and signed the special register.
Erdogan will attend a parade to be held later on Sunday.
