ANKARA - Iranian Foreign Minister Manuchehr Motaki departed Friday from Ankara.
During his stay in Ankara, Motaki met with his Turkish counterpart Ali Babacan and was received by President Abdullah Gul and PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Bilateral relations, regional issues, energy issues, commerce and Iran`s nuclear energy program were discussed during the meetings.
Motaki, who spoke to private NTV channel before his departure, said that President Gul reinvited Iranian President Mahmud Ahmadi-Nejad to Turkey.
He said they hoped this visit would take place within 2008.
