Number Of German And Russian Tourists Visiting Antalya Increases

ANTALYA - The number of Russian tourists visiting southern Antalya province increased by 52.39 percent, while the number of German tourists spending their holiday in the city rose by 36.81 in the first seven months of 2004 when compared to the same period last year.
Antalya Culture and Tourism Director told the A.A correspondent that 3,141,190 foreign tourists from 34 countries visited Antalya between January 1st and July 31st, 2004.
A total of 1,239,878 German tourists visited the city, while 587,777 Russian tourists spent their vacation in Antalya in the same period.
Antalya also hosted tourists from the Netherlands, Austria, Belgium, Italy, Iran, France, the United States, Greece, Spain, Canada, Portugal, Sweden, Switzerland, Japan, Israel and Saudi Arabia.
