Youth And Sports General Director Atalay Leaves For Athens

ISTANBUL - Turkish Youth and Sports General Director Mehmet Atalay and accompanying officials left for Athens, Greece on Wednesday.
Atalay told reporters prior to his departure that 66 competitors will attend Games from Turkey.
Stating that competitors for yachting, archery, shooting, boxing and a part of team for weight-lifting are now in Athens, Atalay said that competitors for athletics, wrestling, taekwondo and remaining team of weight-lifting will later leave for Athens.
Atalay said that friendship in political relations between Turkey and Greece will reach the highest level with Olympic Games.
