ISTANBUL - Three children died after their house was inundated by flooding waters in Bahcelievler district of Istanbul on Tuesday.
Releasing a statement, Istanbul Municipality Disaster Coordination Center (AKOM) said that garden wall of a building in Soganli neighborhood in Bahcelievler collapsed after a vehicle hit the wall. AKOM stated that three children died and their mother was injured when floods inundated their house after the wall collapsed.
Police, firemen and health teams came to the scene and rescued Hizna Sengor, mother of three children.
Torrential rains which started in Istanbul on Tuesday afternoon inundated many houses.
