ANKARA - Turkish Treasury conducted two separate auctions on Tuesday and sold 329-day bonds and 560-day discounted debenture bonds.
Releasing a statement, Treasury Department said that total nominal-valued bids for 329-day bonds had been 2,501.8 trillion Turkish liras (TL) while the net sale was 620.3 trillion TL.
In this auction, Treasury sold 765.7 trillion TL nominal-valued 329-day bonds. The average interest rate of these bonds is 26.23 percent, average simple interest rate is 25.93 percent and average composite interest rate is 26.23 percent.
Value date of these bonds is August 11, 2004 and maturity is July 6, 2005.
Meanwhile, Treasury said that total nominal-valued bids for 560-day debenture bonds had been 4,700.9 trillion TL while the net sale was 923.6 trillion TL.
In this auction, Treasury sold 1,302.8 trillion TL nominal-valued 560-day debenture bonds. The average interest rate of these bonds is 25.05 percent, average simple interest rate is 26.68 percent and average composite interest rate is 25.05 percent.
Value date of these debenture bonds is August 11, 2004 and maturity is February 22, 2006.
