ANKARA - Chief judge of Turkey's top court gave no date when the lawsuit filed to close down the ruling Justice & Development (AK) Party will conclude.
Constitutional Court Chief Judge Hasim Kilic attended a reception in Ankara to mark the Bastille Day of France on July 14th.
Answering questions regarding the closure case, Kilic said, "Turkey is a big country. Such problems earlier took place in this country. Turkey overcame them. There is no need to be concerned."
Replying to a question when the closure case against AK Party will be concluded, Kilic said it was not possible to give a date now and he was waiting for the report of rapporteur regarding the case.
