ANKARA - Four terrorists were killed in an operation in southeastern Turkey, Turkish military said on Monday.
Turkish security forces encountered four terrorists in a mountainous area near Sirnak's Beytussebap town and called on them to surrender, General Staff said in a statement posted in its website.
But terrorists opened fired on security forces, and four terrorists were killed in clash, it said.
The number of terrorists killed in the region over the past four days reached 8.
