ANKARA - Turkish Finance Minister Kemal Unakitan said on Tuesday that consolidated budget expenses amounted to 76.5 quadrillion Turkish liras (TL), while consolidated budget income amounted to 60.6 quadrillion TL between January and July 2004.
Unakitan who held a press conference on macroeconomic situation and budget practices said that budget deficit amounted to 15.9 quadrillion TL and primary surplus was 19.1 quadrillion TL in the same period.
He noted that tax incomes amounted to 54.9 quadrillion TL, while tax-exempt income became 10.7 quadrillion TL.
