Turkey, Italy, Spain To Pursue A Joint Project On Agriculture

MERSIN - Turkey will cooperate with Italy and Spain in agriculture and food industries under a project called "Region of Knowledge Project".
The project will be pursued under coordination of Turkey's southern province of Mersin's provincial administration.
The administration's Secretary General Ahmet Zahterogullari said on Monday that Turkey's first "Region of Knowledge Project" was approved by European Commission.
Related institutions in Turkey, Italy and Spain will cooperate with each other to gain share from world agriculture and food sectors under the project which has a budget of 919,000 Euros.
The project will be implemented for 30 months.
