ANKARA - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will pay a state visit to Georgia between August 11 and 12, 2004 as guest of Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili.
Releasing a statement, the Prime Ministry Press Center stated on Tuesday that Prime Minister Erdogan's visit to Georgia would include Tbilisi and Batumi.
He will be received by President Saakashvili and will also meet Prime Minister Zurab Zhvania of Georgia. Prime Minister Erdogan and Prime Minister Zhvania will preside meetings between Turkish and Georgian delegations.
Besides the bilateral relations between Turkey and Georgia, recent international and regional topics will be high on the agenda of Prime Minister Erdogan's meetings.
