ANKARA - Swiss Federal Police is closely following 6 officials from canton assemblies whose names or articles have appeared in news papers supporting the terrorist organization PKK.
According to sources who spoke to A.A on condition of anonymity, the Swiss Justice Ministry may launch an investigation on 6 officials from several political parties who are related to representatives of media organs supporting PKK. The prosecutors are closely following articles and remarks of the said officials appearing in news papers supporting PKK.
Jurg Buhler, Deputy Chief of Swiss Intelligence Agency (DAB) while answering questions of reporters on allegations, said PKK had posed a hidden threat for Switzerland. He said PKK collected rakeoff from Kurds living in Switzerland under the name off "revolution tax" refusing to disclose information on the said officials.
Homeland security report for 2007, announced by Swiss Federal police revealed that a branch of PKK called TAK claimed numerous arson incidents and raids that took place in Basel, St. Galen, Zurich, Lyss and Muchenbuchsee.
