ANKARA - Direct foreign investments in Turkey dropped by 45.5 percent to 6 billion USD in the first five months of 2008 when compared to the same period last year, Treasury Undersecretariat said on Friday.
The Undersecretariat said direct foreign investments of 649 million USD flowed the country in May.
Between January and May 2007 the figure amounted to 11.1 billion USD.
