ANKARA - Spokesman for the Turkish Foreign Ministry said on Thursday there had been a close cooperation between Turkey and Germany in regard to the three German mountaineers who were kidnapped in the east of Turkey.
When asked whether those German mountaineers were abducted by PKK terrorists on Mount Agri, spokesman Burak Ozugergin said Turkish security authorities had been working on this matter fastidiously.
Turkish Foreign Ministry and German Embassy in Ankara as well as Turkish Embassy in Berlin and German Foreign Office have been cooperating on the issue, he said.
