ANKARA - Turkish Foreign Ministry spokesman Burak Ozuergin said Thursday that the remarks attributed to a Turkish diplomat in the Israeli daily newspaper Haaretz, suggesting that Israel and Syria established a plan for direct talks, were not true.
Ozuergin denied that a Turkish diplomat had made remarks on the issue and said it was Israel and Syria who would decide on the future of talks.
