ANKARA - Turkey's central management budget had a surplus of 1.9 billion new Turkish liras (YTL) between January and June, 2008.
Turkish Ministry of Finance announced Thursday budget figures for June and the term January-April.
According to the ministry, Turkey spent 100.6 billion YTL from the central management in the first half of 2008. Budgetary income was 102.5 billion YTL in this period.
Turkey's non-interest surplus between January and June was 22.6 billion YTL. (1 USD equals 1.22 YTL)
