ANKARA - Turkey's current account deficit increased by 28.8 percent to 4.63 billion USD in May 2008 over the same month of last year, Central Bank said on Wednesday.

Turkey's current account deficit in May 2007 was 3.6 billion USD, the bank said.
It said the current account deficit in the first five months of this year rose by 33.3 percent to reach 21.54 billion USD from 16.15 billion USD.
