European Commission Strongly Condemns Attack Outside U.S. Consulate

BRUSSELS - European Commission on Wednesday strongly condemned armed attack outside U.S. Consulate in Istanbul.
European Commission spokesperson Amadeu Altafaj Tardio said they shared the sorrow of the Turkish authorities and relatives of policemen who were killed in the attack.
A security guard and two traffic policemen were killed in the shootout near the police post at the visa entrance of the U.S. Consulate General, and three attackers were also killed in the shooting.
