US fanning tensions in Georgia: Russia

MOSCOW - US policy on Georgia and its separatist conflicts is fanning tensions in the region and is a disservice to the Georgian leadership, the Russian Foreign Ministry said Wednesday.

Those who "shield the provocateurs and blame everything on Moscow are doing a great disservice to the Georgian leadership and strengthening its sense of impunity," the ministry said in a statement, referring to Washington.
