Turkish Parliament Extends Lebanon Mission For A Year

The Turkish Parliament adopted on Tuesday a Prime Ministry motion authorizing the government to extend mandate of Turkish troops within the body of United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL).

Turkish troops will continue serving in Lebanon for another year, beginning as of September 5th, 2008.
