ANKARA - Turkey condemned recent terrorist attacks in Pakistan and Afghanistan which have killed at least 59 people and injured scores.
"Turkey strongly denounces these atrocious terror acts," the Turkish Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.
A suicide blast killed on Sunday 17 people, 13 of them police officers, at a protest rally in Islamabad, Pakistan.
On Monday, a car bomb went off in the Afghan capital, Kabul, killing at least 41 people and injuring more than 100.
"We call on the international community once again to act in solidarity against terrorism," the ministry statement said.
