Turkey's Industrial Output Up 2.4 Percent

ANKARA - Turkish industrial production grew 2.4 percent in May 2008 over the same month of 2007, Turkish Board of Statistics (TUIK) announced on Tuesday.
Increase in industrial output in May 2007 was 5.9 percent.
Industrial production rose 1.9 percent in manufacturing industry, 6.6 percent in power, gas and water industries and 2.6 percent in mining sector.
