HABUR - The number of Iraqi plate trucks, which enter Turkey to carry goods to Iraq, increased after Turkish drivers were held hostage and murdered in Iraq, said officials on Saturday.
The number of Turkish drivers decreased as attacks against them in Iraq increase. Some of the goods which are exported to Iraq are transferred to Iraqi plate trucks in Silopi town of eastern Sirnak province and then sent to Iraq.
An Iraqi driver told A.A correspondent that the number of trucks which came from Iraq to Turkey increased after Turkish drivers were kept hostage and murdered in Iraq.
