Turkish President Leaves For Kazakhstan

ANKARA - Turkish President Abdullah Gul left Turkey on Friday for Kazakhstan as the official guest of his Kazakh counterpart Nursultan Nazarbayev.
Appearing at a press conference before his departure, Gul told reporters that he would attend ceremonies to mark the 10th anniversary of proclamation of Astana as the Kazakh capital.
Gul also said he would meet with leaders of other countries of the region and exchange views on regional and international issues.
Responding to a question about the ongoing investigation into a suspected criminal network, publicly known as "Ergenekon," Gul said "everyone should act with responsibility."
"Now that Turkey is passing through such a climate, it is everyone's responsibility to lead our country much stronger from it. All sections and institutions of the society have their respective duties," Gul said.
