ANKARA - Vice-President of the Constitutional Court Osman Paksut said on Thursday that court rapporteur would start working on the case filed to shut down Turkey`s ruling party immediately and that court members had intentions to finalize the case in the shortest time possible.
"It is a very complicated job but our rapporteur will present the report as soon as possible. It is impossible to speak of a date," Paksut told reporters after ruling Justice & Development (AK) Party`s verbal defense made by Deputy Premier Cemil Cicek and Bekir Bozdag, deputy chairman of AK Party`s parliamentary group.
Abdurrahman Yalcinkaya, the chief prosecutor of the Supreme Court of Appeals who filed the lawsuit against AK Party, made his verbal statement on Tuesday.
