ANKARA - Turkish aid organization Kizilay (Red Crescent) sent canned meat to Iraq, the society announced on Thursday.
Turkish Red Crescent sent more than 9,000 cans of meat to Turkey`s Consulate General in Mosul to be distributed to the Iraqis fighting many problems after the war, a statement of the society said.
The society would continue to extend assistance to Iraq, the statement also said.
