Phoney Security Agents Already At Work At Athens Olympics

ATHENS, Aug 7 (AFP) - Thieves posing as security agents robbed two Mexican television cameramen of the equivalent of 2,050 dollars near the Olympic Games complex in northern Athens, police said Saturday.
The cameramen, who work for Azteka television channel, were approached by three man who spoke to them in Spanish and said they were security agents looking for suspected Colombian drug dealers, the police said in a statement.
The thieves flashed phoney identity cards, examined the contents of the cameramen's wallets and made off with 1,700 euros and 100 Mexican pesos in cash.
