Besiktas Sign Up Juanfran

ISTANBUL, Aug 6 (AFP) - Turkish giants Besiktas have signed Spanish defender Juanfran from Celta Vigo on a three-year contract.
The transfer cost Besiktas 3.5 million euros, while Juanfran will earn 1.1 million euros a year, Besiktas deputy president Kivanc Oktay told Anatolia news agency.
The club's new Spanish coach Vicente del Bosque, formerly of Real Madrid, has been after Juanfran, 28, for some time.
Juanfran, whose full name is Juan Fransisco Garcia, was to ink the contract later in the day when the new season of the Turkish league was to kick off.
