CHP Not To Attend Socialist International Meeting

ANKARA - Turkey`s main opposition Republican People`s Party (CHP) will not attend the meeting of Socialist International.
CHP`s deputy chairman Onur Oymen told AA that they would not join the meeting of Socialist International in Athens, Greece.
Oymen said that CHP did not have any problem with the organization and its principles, however stances of several member countries and politicians about independence of jurisdiction and supremacy of law in Turkey were different from CHP`s views.
CHP is a member of Socialist International.
